  1. Ohio Presence - If you live in Ohio or a neighboring state, then seeing your horses race in Ohio, firsthand, is probably for you.
  2. Professionals - The HMD Partnership Team consists of dedicated horseman, business, turf people and veterinarians that bring to the table skills that are hard to duplicate.
  3. Experience - The horses are managed by people that are leaders in Ohio Thoroughbred breeding and racing. 
  4. Timing - Someone said timing is everything in life. With the LTV's influence on the purse structure for Ohio bred horses, there is no better time to become involved with Ohio Thoroughbred racing. 
  5. Spreading the Risk - By owning a percentage of a horse or group of horses with HMD, you maximize your invested dollar, while minimizing the risk 
  6. Community Based - Our group is small enough that before joining we encourage you to visit the farms located in Ohio and Kentucky.
  7. Integrity - With HMD retaining 55% or more ownership, there is no chance of investing in horses that the HMD Partnership group is not willing to invest in.
  8. Affordability - The HMD charges a 1% management fee on the HMD racing partnership.
  9. Close Knit Group - If you want to join a limited group then, HMD partnership group may be for you.  Unlike many other racing partnerships that take in hundreds  of people, we limit the size of our group to three  partners per horse. Fifteen percent per partner minimum.
  10. Buying into Ohio Breds - By the HMD partnership racing  Ohio Bred, we limit the competition from outside of the state and are able to compete for stakes and the added money is growing exponentially.
  11. Yearly Get Together - Each year, the partners meet and review the progress of the stable, the expected races coming up and their plans for each horse going forward. Each member is allowed to comment on our plans and progress of the stable and their comments are taken under advisement. 
  12. Periodic Reports - All partners in each horse receives an update from the shed row as to the progress or problems that may have developed. This report is sent to you by email.
