MAPLETON THOROUGHBRED FARM
George Sikora DVM, - Since 2009 George R. Sikora and partner John P. Bryk have been involved in breeding & racing Ohio Bred Horses. hey have concentrated on breeding yearlings for the Ohio Accredited program. Mapleton has had "Stallion of the Year" 4 times over the the last four years. Their horses earnings have run between 1.5 to 2 million in earnings yearly. Mapleton has produced some of the best Ohio Accredited yearlings on a yearly basis.
DUNCAN FARMS
Daryl & Sally Duncan, before turning their farm into a Thoroughbred operation in 2017, the Duncan's had an international reputation for their superior Holstein Cattle. They were involved in producing some of the best Holstein Cattle in the World. The Duncan's cattle exportation involved, South America, Japan, Australia, Canada and the Netherlands. In 2017 they made their entrance into the Thoroughbred Breeding operation breeding some of the top Ohio Thoroughbreds it was like Deja vu to the Duncan's. They presently have over 25 mares and stand six Stallions that are rated the best in the state. Each year the HMD group will evaluate their yearlings and pick the head toppers to go into our stable as two year old's.
HUNTERTOWN FARMS
Mike Feigenbaum, Mike for the last ten years has enjoyed great success in managing the Huntertown Stable located in Versailles Kentucky. In 2021 their running at Charlestown and a track in West Virginia has calculated to over $10,000 per start. They also have bred "Star of Nite" Horse of the Year in West Virginia.
